Like other highly successful people, you already know that continual development of your personal and technical skills is essential for success. My leadership development programmes have been created for leaders like you – people who are passionate about their work, and who are already performing to high standards, but who know there is still more that they could be doing to bring about true, lasting results from their leadership.
There are 3 types of leader challenges that I particularly help my clients to overcome:
Frustration: You are highly competent but you struggle with people who don’t live up to your high standards. You can be accused of rail-roading others, of being aggressive in the way you communicate with certain people, and of not taking people with you. You know that you need to develop your ‘people’ skills if you are to move forward with your career.
Politics: You are already recognised by many as an authentic leader and you naturally value, respect and nurture others. However you do sometimes struggle to know how best to influence those who play politics, or you are challenged by the behaviour of those who act without integrity. You want to change this as you know this is an area where you can further enhance your influencing skills.
Confidence: You are your best kept secret! You do great work, you have great ideas, you have great integrity and value and respect those you work with. But in certain situations you lack confidence, and you struggle to effectively communicate your views, ideas and responses. You no longer want to hold yourself back, or give a less than ideal impression of what you have to offer.
Authentic Leader Workshops
I run two foundation workshops which provide the building blocks for my full programme in Transformational Leadership which can lead to a postgraduate award with Middlesex University in the UK:
Personal Awareness in Leadership: an in-depth exploration of the personal attitudes and behaviours that underpin Authentic and Transformational Leadership, and how to develop these.
Relationship Mastery: an exploration of the essential 21st Century leadership skills set – effective relationship management – including how to develop your Know-Like-Trust factor.
The Transformational Leader: combining the learnings of the Personal Awareness in Leadership and the Relationship Mastery workshops, this 9 month blended learning programme can also lead to a postgraduate award of 20 credits from Middlesex University in the UK (on successful completion of assessed work).
