I share my knowledge, insights and practical techniques to develop the authenticity and potential of leaders, coaches and entrepreneurs, through coaching, facilitation, resource development, emotional intelligence training, and speaking.

 

 

Coaching

 

One-to-one coaching is my true passion.  There is nothing, in my view, more effective than meeting an individual where they are right now, in terms of their performance, impact on others, and how they feel about themselves … and help them to easily change how and what they are thinking, feeling and doing, to create quite different, and much more positive outcomes in their work, their lives, and their personal experience of health, happiness and success.

 

Some people embrace coaching because they understand how effective it is.  Others worry that they will somehow have to give something up, such as their drive, their secrets or their sense of being, during the process.  My aim as a coach is to help an individual discover their true amazing self and how to work with others to discover and step into theirs’.  It is not about diminishing a person’s focus or energy, but to enhance it by enabling them to discover their true self and to manage the aspects of their personality that get in the way of their success.

Consultancy and Facilitation


Whilst one-to-one work is the ideal, there are many other ways in which I can help people and organisations to become high performing by engaging in transformational work.

 

 

Team Development

 

The linguistic root of facilitate is ‘facile’ which is the Latin for ‘make easy’, and this is the role of a facilitator – to smooth the way for the group to make an easy discovery of a solution or set of solutions.  I have a broad range of experience working with groups and teams in both an indoor and an outdoor development situation, and I see the group environment as a great stepping stone for enabling the individual to raise their self awareness and ultimately their individual performance and potential.

 

I have a number of development tools that I use to help teams understand their current performance, their desired potential, and what is getting in their way of achieving or sustaining high performance.

 

 

Competency Development

 

I encourage organisations to put in place competency frameworks that truly facilitate performance improvement.  This means understanding how to measure the softer, intangible qualities that enable individuals to really raise their game.

As an example, I recently co-developed a personal development framework to sit alongside a set of organisational competencies for commissioning managers in the UK National Health Service.

 

 

Resource development

 

As well as coaching and facilitation, there are other ways in which individuals can easily understand where they are at, where they want to go, and how to get there.  Anyone who engages in coaching with me will have immediate access to a portfolio of tools and exercises that will help accelerate their personal change process.  Included within this is the profiling and development tool that I developed, which can include a 360 process (feedback from others).  The iPA tool (Individual Potential Accelerator) helps the individual identify how they relate with themselves and others, the strengths and challenges within that, and how they can move forward to step into their true potential.

 

 

Emotional Intelligence Training

 

As well as coaching and facilitation, I engage in teaching sessions and create teaching resources that enable leaders and people development practitioners to understand and develop their emotional and spiritual intelligences, and how to facilitate their development in others.  My teaching culminates in a post-graduate accredited programme for leaders, coaches and trainers in emotional intelligence development, a programme which is one of the most in-depth, highly effective and inspirational EI practitioner programmes available globally.  Please contact me to discuss my open, in-house and virtual postgraduate accredited programmes.

 

 

Speaking

 

I am keen to share my insights and discoveries around the practice and implementation of emotional and spiritual intelligence in our personal and professional lives.  Speaking is a personal way in which I can share my story, as well as some practical takeaways that enable people to get a real feel for the value of personal change and development in a variety of contexts.  Examples include leadership and sales conventions, entrepreneur network events, and corporate lunch-and -learns.  For my speaker biography, availability, itinerary, and terms and conditions please contact me.
